CGARS has provided Emergency Medical Services to residents of Cedar Grove, NJ and neighboring towns since 1938. Though small in the beginning, we have grown to be one of the leaders in this state. Our call volume has increased substantially over the years and in the future, we can only expect to answer many more.
Glen Ridge Volunteer Ambulance
The Glen Ridge Volunteer Ambulance Squad (GRVAS) is an all-volunteer, non-profit, independent organization dedicated to providing Glen Ridge, NJ and surrounding towns with professional, courteous, and skilled emergency care and transportation to the sick and injured, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
The West Essex First Aid Squad provides 24-hour emergency medical services and rescue (Jaws of Life) to the West Essex area, all at no cost to the patient. Currently we have 4 fully equipped ambulances, a rescue truck, and a support vehicle.
Bloomfield Emergency Medical Services
For the last 53 years Bloomfield Emergency Medical Services has been providing free emergency medical services to the citizens of our town. We are a licensed ambulance service provider in the State of New Jersey and all of our members are certified emergency medical technicians (EMTs).

The Verona Rescue Squad is a volunteer non-profit organization, providing Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to the Township of Verona. We are supported by voluntary donations from the residents and businesses of Verona as well as from the people we serve.
The Roseland First Aid Squad (RFAS) has proudly served Roseland and the surrounding community since 1980. RFAS provides prompt emergency medical response, care and transportation to ill and injured citizens,
